What time is the Tour de Boerne event over?

The Tour de Boerne event will be completely finished at 2pm on the day of the event.

Where do we park?

There is guided parking at Don Strange Ranch. 

What happens in the case of inclement weather?

Generally the ride will be held rain or shine, unless there is severe weather.

IF the ride is cancelled, there are NO REFUNDS.  If event is rescheduled, at no additional costs, you can elect to ride in the rescheduled event.

Is safety gear required?

All riders are required to wear helmets during the ride and follow the rules of the road. Safety is of utmost importance, so we always need to share the road and be aware of surroundings at all times.  It is recommended that riders have lights on their bikes as well.

Who does the Tour de Boerne benefit?

This year, Tour de Boerne plans to support the following organizations: Waring Volunteer Fire Dept., Open Trail Ranch, Hill Country Boys and Girls Club, Blessings in a Backpack and Coats for Kids

What time does the ride start, and when do participants need to be ready to ride?

Riders are welcome to show up at Don Strange Ranch starting at 5 a.m., and the ride begins promptly at 7:00 a.m.

Are there any hazards on the routes?

There may be cattle guards, potholes, loose gravel, loose livestock, low water crossings, and vehicles…Be careful.

Are there rest stops along the routes?

Yes, they will be located throughout the different routes – check the ride map

Can a non-cyclist buy a lunch ticket?

Yes, a non-cyclist can buy a lunch ticket (meal & drinks, craft beer)  for $20 online or at the registration table the day of the event until we run out.

Are there things to do in town for the non-cyclist?

Yes, lots of shopping, restaurants, wineries and breweries, etc..

Is there a waiver required to ride?

By purchasing and registering for any Tour de Boerne ride, you are agreeing to a waiver that is available on registration page.

Are there bike mechanics at the event?

Yes, bike mechanics will be at Don Strange Ranch, James Kiel Park, Comfort, and Luckenbach.

Can I receive a refund if I cancel or cannot ride?

Our ride is to benefit local charities.  Your contribution to the Tour de Boerne is non-transferrable and non-refundable.  We greatly thank you for your support to our local charities!

At this time we DO NOT offer team registration nor have designated areas for team tents.

SAG WAGONS

Personal SAG Wagons are NOT allowed, however, the Tour de Boerne team has multiple SAG Wagons to assist riders on every route.
